July 19, 2018
The Shire of Three Springs is set to benefit from a grant of $500,000 following the announcement that Three Springs will receive funding under the Building Better Regions Fund – Infrastructure Projects stream.
Federal Member for Durack Melissa Price said the project will help towards the construction of an early childhood learning centre in Three Springs and is a significant investment in building a stronger economy and driving jobs for the long term.
“This is a fantastic outcome for the Three Springs community, with the project receiving $500,000 towards building this facility,” she said.
Three Springs Shire President Chris Lane expressed her appreciation at the BBR funding saying it was fabulous, such a good news story.
“We’ve been waiting for so long for it to happen and getting concerned we would have to start building without it and do the best we could. This will really make the road a lot smoother,” she said.
The funding is part of the Federal Government’s $641 million BBRF program.
